If you are concerned about your student’s reading and spelling ability and you think you may be dealing with a language-based learning disability or dyslexia, then a formal evaluation can help get a clearer picture into what is going on. To receive a diagnosis, you need a psycho-educational evaluation from a child psychologist. Below are some local offices that complete this testing. You will have to speak with them specifically about insurance coverage.
